The PINWHEEL PROJECT is off to a great start!

Lunch Buddies is absolutely jam-packed with mentors this year, too, so there will be lots of happy kids at PHES!

Stay tuned for our next meeting which will include plans for the Halloween fundraiser and kicking off the HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE.

Monday, September 21st

Our first meeting is Wednesday, September 23rd in Room 10 at lunch.  DANA BROOKS is REACH prez this year and we have a lot of fantastic things happening:

  • We're thinking about doing this project to help school kids in Syria: HEALING CLASSROOMS CHALLENGE.  If you were part of the Million Bones Project a three years ago, it's created by the same group called Students Rebuild.
  • We're working with the Reach Out Mentoring Program (ROMP) to continue the LUNCH BUDDIES program.  You make a big difference in a little kid's life when you spend time with them, so find out how to be a Lunch Buddy.
  • We have the annual FOOD DRIVE and GIVING TREE coming up, so stay tuned.  It will be the holidays before we know it!
  • Lots more opportunities to be a force of positive change in the community, so come find out where you fit in!
